I loved the Wadsworth Museum. There were lots of wonderful art pieces. One of my favorite art pieces was Aagaardstrand by Edvard Munch. I wanted to create something that had similar shades of color. I haven’t worked with peach tones a lot lately. I think there’s a hint of that in this design. Well, I hope it looks that way. It was hard to make this design. I spent most of my free time throughout the last 4 days working on it. On Thursday, I stumbled across a beautiful blend of orange and red. I thought to continue down that road. It’s interesting where color takes me. Well… it’s all an experiment. I love it. It’s challenging but I really love what I do. At the beginning, I had a completely different focus and I love when I go into another direction and it’s better than what I had envisioned at the beginning.

It’s taking me longer to complete designs. I was hoping to be further along by this point. I don’t have much time until June. However, I didn’t plan where I wanted to go once I travel to Cape May. I am not going to visit Cape May until I’m done this album. Hopefully, I can go before July. Something quite wonderful happened recently that’s given me a lot of hope. It’s amazing how things can start turning around. It’s small steps but every step forward is a great thing. Hopefully, I can get a car in July. That will help reach me a lot of places on the east coast without traveling by train or bus. It would be very exciting to go on a road trip.

I’ve been working on the music video for a few hours as well. Youtube changed the way you can make end screens. Well… annotations are going away which was perfect for me. I had to change everything. It’s unfortunate because I wanted clickable links in the customized end screen I created. I know I can use one of their templates but I don’t like them and they don’t work with creating a link directly to my shop. You always have to be flexible and work around hurdles. I did use their templates for the past 3 videos. However, something just felt missing. So… I made a new end screen. I will tweak it but I think this looks good for right now. I hate to do this while creating an album but I need to continue my work. I also hope you like the video color background for the animation, starting at 1:39 in the video. I experimented a lot with this video. The video was definitely challenging to me to make. While I was making the design, I forgot to pause the video at some points. You can see more menus in this video compared to the last three. I did edit some out. I do apologize. It’s truly an adjustment making these videos.

I am going to advertise this video on Youtube. I don’t think it’s my best video but I did put a lot of effort into it. Plus, I want to start concentrating on my promoting my work on Youtube. I always wanted to create videos that look good and pleasing for an audience but not everyone is going to like what I do. So… I’m just going to showcase the work and that’s it. I will always try to improve. My videos look very different compared to when I first started in 2012. Now is the Time.
