Album Project Outline: Paris

I wanted to provide details for my upcoming travel series art album for the home page. My main goal is to finish the album on March 29th, 2021. Personally, it’s the perfect date for one main reason that’s a secret. I also plan to promote the album for six months so I’ll be officially done working on the album September 29th, 2021. It’s an ambitious goal and at the moment I don’t feel confident in reaching it. The second date I have in mind is June 9th. I don’t want to work on this album for that long and I will try my best to reach my original publication date.

Here are my current plans: 15 speed art videos & designs featuring locations and art seen throughout Paris, France. I also plan to make a short abstract art music video featuring a design spin on Paris. I have lots of video content and hope to use everything to make the music video. I want to make something relatively similar to my Annapolis film. Below are all the designs that I plan to make. If you see anything crossed out, click on it, the design and music video are finished. 😀

Design Playlist

As I mentioned in recent posts, this will most likely be my last album. I’ve been wanting to visit Paris for almost 20 years and it feels incredible to dedicate my last album to wonderful place.

I would so love to continue the journey but to be very honest, I am a realist. The plans I would love to execute would take many years and lots of money that I don’t have to execute. I’m not 20 years old and time is not on my side. The only way to accomplish this goal is to complete this travel series project full time. The pessimistic side part of me feels like it’s impossible because I think my art is subpar at best to the outside world. I hate to say it’s impossible but it just seems like a fantasy. Maybe it can happen but I’m tired of trying to make a career out of my love affair with color. I’ve been a failure all of my life and I’m tired of failing. I want to go out on a high and I’m going to do everything I can to make this album the best one I ever made.

I didn’t plan to write a sad album outline but it’s how I feel. If I can’t continue the journey on my terms, what’s the point?

So… wish me luck on this album and if you’re reading this after I finished well… I hope it lives up to my high expectations. lol…
