In an attempt to challenge myself to create more artwork, I’m going to create a design challenge. I would like to create a large number of designs within a month time. Will it be done? I honestly don’t know at this point. Looking back at my YouTube channel, the most videos I ever created in a month was 7. I initially was aiming at a minimum of 10 videos. I would love to create 20 to 25 videos in this challenge. I want to push the limits. I want to go down so many color roads. There’s still so much to explore.
Honestly… I want to be able to create at least five videos per week. I know that particular goal is tough. I want to create 100 music videos before June 1, 2014. That date marks my two year anniversary on YouTube. In the beginning of 2013, I wanted to reach 100 videos by the end of the year. However… so many horrible things have happened to me this year that made it impossible for that goal to be reached. 2013 has been one of the worst years of my life to date. Things kept spiraling out of control and I couldn’t handle it. In the end, I’m grateful to have a place to live and a chance to turn things around. There’s still so much uncertainty but I have faith in my work. It’s one of the only things that’s keeping me smiling.
I’m going to start this challenge today. If I reach 25 music videos by January 27th, I’m going to do something special. I’m not sure what it’s going to be yet but I will provide updates here. I am pushing for 15 videos and I refuse to accept anything less than 10 videos. It will be done, oh yes! The only thing that will stop me is if something happens to me physically that will make me unable to work on color or if I stop breathing.
I’m nervous to start this challenge but I can do this! Wish me luck… 😀
