I did something I never did before with designing. I created a commentary on how I made this design while recording. I talk about how I created Dugout step by step. At first I was going to create a 25 minute video but it stretched to close to an hour. By that point, I didn’t make much progress with the design so I continued the commentary. The design itself took a lot longer than I expected. The whole series is in 8 parts. The design process for Dugout is 4 hours long. I do apologize for the length. I will be posting each part throughout the week. I was a little upset towards the end because I hit a roadblock with textures. It happens a lot but I do feel good with the design overall. I am very happy with the colors.
The main reason I created this design series was to give everyone a little insight on how I make designs. The speed art videos show mostly everything but very fast. I will be creating a three part series. This one features a digital art design. The next one will feature me making a design from a traditional sketch. The last video will feature me creating a design with a traditional drawing and a photo.
I hope you like my upcoming design series and the design.
