This music video is my favorite so far. I’ve been wanting to use Learning Music Part 1 for quite some time. Either the designs weren’t right or too big for the song. I really don’t like cutting parts of the design process. I only do it if it’s absolutely necessary. I rather cut the song instead of the video. It’s a lot easier for me to edit the song length. Anyway… I had the song in mind and the color purple while making the design.
I wanted to use lots of purple and pink but while I was making the design, I started playing with kaleidoscope. I tend to shy away from that effect. It completely distorts the pattern and I try to make the pattern the main focus. With this design, I found a new appreciation for kaleidoscope. I started playing with rotations and I was really digging the patterns and colors. I began to really love it.
I called it Abstract Paradise because of the many colors and shapes I encountered while making this design. I truly love it. I really hope that you love it as well. I figured out a way to completely eliminate the debut screen from ever showing up. This is a huge revelation for me. It always nagged me and now I don’t ever have to see it. Awesome. Finally, I can make perfect editing videos. 🙂 Cool.
