February 4th, 2019 Update: I am adding designs and music videos made before this domain was bought in December 2013. Gone Baby Gone was originally posted on September 23rd, 2013. I had a different domain at that time called katherinebarnett.me. Unfortunately, I lost all written content for the blog. I did write a little bit about the design on my Youtube Channel. The last image in the video is one of the designs I created during the design process. I made several variations.
The song in the video is called Met Some New Colors by the Pop Winds. It’s my favorite song from the band.
I ran into some issues in the past using songs from The Pop Winds. I was hesitant to use the song but I’m going to take the risk. I was going to use this song for my 50th video. However… at this moment I don’t think there’s going to be a 50th video.
The dark times won’t go away and I’m tired. Maybe it’s depression, stress, or whatever but I don’t know how long I can keep going, especially with my art.
All day I’ve been very sad. The only time I smiled was making this design. I wish with every fiber in my being that I was at a point in my life where I can work on my art without barriers. I don’t think that day will ever exist in this life.
