The Ghost on Diamond Mountain

The Ghost on Diamond Mountain

Making this design reminded me how much I love color. I had so much fun! While I was making this design, I found my perfect texture. I found it briefly before I stopped making art, a few months ago. I didn’t write the steps down and then I forgot. This time, I was testing and I found it! My perfect ingredients to a very sweet texture I love. I wrote the ingredients down this time and I will be sending it to myself via e-mail so I won’t lose it. It’s slowly going to be embedded in my head eventually but now I have backup.

The title… Just thinking about it now is making me laugh. I thought about it while making the design. There’s a figure with eyes and a mouth that shows up in the middle of the design. It’s a combination of blending multiple textures, colors, and pencil sketch together. When certain patterns and shapes pop up, I love it. It’s the one thing about what I do that I simply adore. I love color so much. It’s pure sweetness to me. I can’t tell you how much I miss this feeling.

I hope you enjoy the music video. I found England Without Rain on Free Music Archive. This song is awesome. As soon as I heard it, I knew I had to use it for this design. I had to cut some parts of the design process to fit it the song. The original video was over 4 minutes. I listened to the song on repeat while the music video was rendering.
