I am trying very hard to push my personal color boundaries. It’s a frustrating experience working with these colors. The biggest challenge is to become neutral to the colors. For a while, I use to hate purple. Now I really like working with the color. Maybe in a few years, I might like working with yellow. I made four variations of the design. All of them are very similar. There is quite a bit of red in the final versions. However, in the music video, you can see me working with a lot with brown and green. My initial focus was to work with green and tan. This is a very hard combination for me. I did get close at several points but I didn’t stick with the color blends. I’m going to keep traveling down this path until I reach my color goal. I hope the designs don’t look too bizarre.
I ordered a small microphone for my podcast. I should be getting it on Friday. I am going to try to make at least two podcasts per week. I don’t know if I’m going to add any music to the podcast. I’ve been running into many problems recently with my music videos. I have a license for every song in my videos and I still get copyright warnings. I dispute them and it’s declined. It’s a headache and I wish I knew how to create music so I wouldn’t have to go through these problems. I could learn but that’s just going to soak up time I need to create new artwork. Buying royalty free licenses are very expensive. Just thinking about all the hassle I’ve been going through is giving me a headache right now. I’m going to look more into it but I rather be safe.
It took me a while to like the song I used in the music video. I do love one part of the song which pushed me into using it for this video. I feel the beats definitely fit with the pace of the video. At 1:55 in the video, you can see a message saying that my battery is running low. I thought I edited that part out of the video. I guess I missed a second of that footage. I’m sorry about that. It takes over an hour to render videos. I didn’t want to wait another 90+ minutes for a small error. I do hope you like the video and the design and the design.
If you like to support my work, you can buy an art print of Resistance here. You can also share this page with your friends and family. I am forever grateful to anyone that visits this website. ♥ Katherine…
