Dugout (Philadelphia Travel Series)

Dugout (Philadelphia Travel Series)

At one point during the Citizens Bank Park tour, we were on the baseball field. I took pictures of the field and also the dugout. Sadly, there was snow on the field but I did get a nice angle shot of the dugout. I do remember at the time thinking, “How am I going to make a design out this dugout?” It would have been cool if there were players sitting on the bench.

I did something I never did before with designing. I created a commentary on how I made this design while recording. I talk about how I created Dugout step by step. At first I was going to create a 25 minute video but it stretched to close to an hour. By that point, I didn’t make much progress with the design so I continued the commentary. The design itself took a lot longer than I expected. The whole series is in 8 parts. The design process for Dugout is 4 hours long. I do apologize for the length. I will be posting each part throughout the week. I was a little upset towards the end because I hit a roadblock with textures. It happens a lot but I do feel good with the design overall. I am very happy with the colors.
